I loved having so much space with a writing desk and an enormous, comfortable bed. Nice staff too.

The hotel is very close to the MRT, coffee shops, PX supermarket and a laundromat. I enjoy stepping back in time because the bedrooms have art deco style furniture and not the typical modern glass and chrome bathroom. It's the biggest bedroom I've ever stayed in and the bed is very comfortable. Some hotel fridges are noisy but the fridge and bathroom are separated from the bedroom by a door. The staff were friendly and helpful during my three night stay. It's my second time at Taipei Lotty and I will be back.

Unfortunately, due to pandemic the hotel no longer provides a nice buffet breakfast but that may change in the future. It's a short walk to other choices for breakfast.

Expensive, old/tatty and smelly.

Location worked for us. They moved us to a different room when asked.

The first room they checked us into was extremely tatty, it had dirty marks all over the walls. It smelt very strong of cigarette smoke. The window looked directly into another building. It was new year so I’m sure prices were higher but it was not worth the high price paid. They didn’t offer any type of breakfast. They take the cost of the room as a deposit if paying with a foreign card on top of charging you for the room and say it can be up to 20 days to receive the refund. I still haven’t received mine. We looked at four rooms and moved to one slightly better but still not worth the money.

It was a pleasant stay and everything else was excellent except the bookings and confirmation

The facility is excellent and staff and we were taken with good care

We didn't like the booking changes after we received our confirmation about our stay as usual,but we were surprised by the turn of events as our booking and stay was different from what we received and ended up paying almost more than what was confirmed earlier

The personnel at reception is very kind and helpful and they speak English very well.

The room was very old-fashioned and small. The breakfast was just some toast with jam, eggs and pasta. We booked the hotel because of others who praised the big rooms and the big choice on breakfast. We really cannot agree with that.
